Brad Cox was an American computer scientist known mainly for creating the Objective-C programming language with his business partner Tom Love at their company Stepstone. Stepstone folded in 1994, and NeXT acquired the Objective-C trademark and rights in April 1995. Cox also wrote on software reuse and software componentry.
