Anders Hejlsberg is a Danish software engineer who wrote the original Turbo Pascal compiler, later became chief architect of Borland's Delphi, and since 2000 has been lead architect of C# at Microsoft, where he also created TypeScript, announced in 2012 as a superset of JavaScript.
